Keeping in line with Ubisoft’s ‘one game per year’ strategy, Just Dance 4 was followed by the release of Just Dance 2014 in late 2013. Just Dance 4 was also nominated for both Best Family Game at the BAFTA Games Awards and Favorite Video Game as the USA Kids’ Choice Awards, beating the likes of Mario Kart 7 and Wii Sports to scoop the latter. Just Dance 4 also offered a range of different songs available as downloadable content for players to bop along too such as PSY’s annoyingly catchy “Gangnam Style,” Kesha’s electro-pop track “We R Who We R” and “The Lazy Song” by Bruno Mars.ĭespite its late 2012 release, Just Dance 4 went onto rank as the fifth best-selling game of the year in the United States according to data reported by the NPD Group. The Wii U version of Just Dance 4 featured a number of exclusive songs including Jessie J’s “Domino” and a cover of Christina Aguilera’s 2006 hit “Ain’t No Other Man” performed by The Girly Team.
